Headline HPLC ChemStation (DOS) rolls from A.02.00 to A.02.02 Parts required: see below Situation: Revision A.02.02 of the HPLC ChemStations (DOS Series) fixes a number of defects that have been found since A.02.00 was released in May 1993. Several of the changes were necessary also because the bundle PC hardware changed as of September 1, 1993. A.02.02 is a minor revision change ("defect fix revision") that has no impact on the technical accuracy of the manual set delivered with A.02.00. Production at B400 and 2300 will roll to the new revision starting September-7, 1993. SOFTWARE CONTRACT CUSTOMERS WILL BE UPGRADED AUTOMATICALLY. THERE WILL BE NO AUTOMATIC UPGRADE FOR ALL OTHER CHEMSTATION CUSTOMERS. The following problems have been fixed for A.02.02: 1) Fixed graphics driver incompatibility with new UVGA board of Vectra 486/66XM and ISOPLOT. 2) Fixed problem of aborting sequences when a signal error occured on the 79853C (VWD). 3) Fixed problems that occured when processing signals accquired from the HP1049 ECD. 4) Fixed problem in Library Search reports (wrong amounts reported if multiplier != 1) 5) Fixed crash that occured when maximizing LogBook in 1024x768 graphics mode 6) Fixed two problems in the quantitation: a) ISTD calculations (after removing zero amounts from calibration table) b) wrong peak identification in multi signal/multi-level calibrations and overlapping peak identification windows. 7) Fixed memory loss that occured during operation (users noticed a decrease in PC performance over time) 8) Fixed spectra plotting defects in Customized Report. 9) Defect fixes in user contributed library (contribution 11: tools) 10) updated Windows printer drivers supplied on Supplemental Disk. 11) new Software Status Bulletin supplied on Supplemental Disk.
